The visit of Professor Themistoklis Charalambous from the University of Cyprus to the University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome concluded with great success. Professor Charalambous delivered two high-level seminars on topics of significant importance in the field of autonomous systems.

On May 6, he presented “Communication-aware distributed coordination and optimization”, analyzing how communication efficiency in wireless networks can enhance cooperation among autonomous systems. On May 8, he discussed “Emerging cooperative autonomous systems: Information for control and estimation”, delving into the innovative research of the ERC Consolidator Grant project MINERVA.

Both seminars generated strong interest among participants, including experts, researchers, and students, reinforcing the University Campus Bio-Medico of Rome’s role in promoting cutting-edge scientific research. The initiative provided valuable insights into the future development of autonomous systems technology and opened new avenues for international collaboration and research.

Special thanks to Professor Charalambous for his participation and to all the attendees who contributed to the success of these events.
